Our live migration has been ongoing during this week. We are now happy to announce that all the remaining customer cloud servers have been migrated to the new FI-HEL2 location during last night. For a vast majority of the cloud servers the operation was completely invisible and did not result in anything more than a few seconds loss of network connectivity. However there were few isolated cases where we were had to apply a controlled restart for cloud server due to unforseen circumstances and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.

There are still some ongoing maintenance activities left which may hinder some auxiliary storage operations (e.g. cloning or resizing storage devices). All storages should be operational by the end of today (EET). We expect to have the migration fully completed by the end of January 31 st EET as scheduled and have FI-HEL2 back in normal operations.

We will shortly begin the migration of our FI-HEL2 data centre to a Telia's flagship data centre in the Nordics. After the migration, we will have improved our redundancy even further in terms of electricity, physical security and connectivity, thanks to having FI-HEL1 and FI-HEL2 in completely separate data centres once again.

The migration will begin on Wednesday, January 23 2019, with expected completion on January 31, 2019. During the migration, your cloud server may lose network connectivity for a brief moment but not more than 5 minutes. No actions are necessary on your part, and all migrations will be carried out outside of business hours (after 9 PM UTC) whenever possible.

As the schedule is rolling, we cannot estimate when a specific cloud server will be migrated or when the migration is entirely completed, but we will update this status page whenever we have any news to share.
